Der Hafen befindet sich in bei allen Windrichtungen sehr geschützter Lage im Dänholm-Kanal. Rundum befinden sich Wald und Wiesen. Zur Anfahrt bitte vollständig durch den Kanal fahren, bis Sie die Schilder Yachtclub Strelasund e.V. an Nord- und Südsteg sehen. An den Schildern ist ausgewiesen, welche Länge von Liegeplätzen sich wo befindet. Genaue Breiten der Liegeplätze stehen an jedem Liegeplatz. Im gleichen Gebäude ist das Büro des Hafenmeisters, sowie die Sanitäreinrichtungen, sowie Waschmaschine und Trockner zu finden. Während der Saison ist der/die Hafenmeister/in täglich auf dem Gelände und hilft gern bei allen Anliegen rund ums Schiff oder touristischen Tipps für die Region aus. Fahrräder können ebenfalls beim Hafenmeister ausgeliehen werden. 

The harbor is located in a very well-protected position in the Dänholm Canal and is sheltered from all wind directions. The surrounding area consists of forest and meadows. When approaching, please proceed all the way through the canal until you see the signs for Yachtclub Strelasund e.V. at the north and south piers. The signs indicate where berths of different lengths are located. The exact widths of the berths are marked at each individual berth. The same building also houses the harbormaster’s office, sanitary facilities, as well as a washing machine and dryer. During the season, the harbormaster is on site daily and is happy to assist with any questions regarding the vessel or to provide tourist information about the region. Bicycles can also be rented from the harbormaster.
