FAQ

How to book a marina berth?

Book your spot in three easy steps:

  • Tell us where you want to go and when
  • Choose a spot in the harbour
  • Make the desired option and pay

Once the reservation and payment are completed you will receive a confirmation e-mail. It helps you to remember your reservation and to find your spot. And why not share your booking with your friends. They might join you!

Can I book on the same day?

Most marinas requires you to place your booking before midnight the day before arrival.

How do I know that my boat fits the berthhe spot?

You specify the type of boat in your profile when you register the first time. From then on you will only be offered spots that suit your boat.

What happens if my payment doesn’t go through?

When you click Proceed to payment, the system automatically locks the information you have chosen and waits for a signal that the payment is cleared. If the payment does not go through, the spot will be uploaded again automatically in 30 minutes and be available for booking. If you experience difficultis while paying for your berth please check that your card is valid for internet use. You might need an authenticate against your bank, or you might need to enable your card for foreign charges.

When do I need to checkout from my berth?

Checkout must be completed by 12 PM (noon) or sooner. Please speak to the harbour master if you need to stay longer. They can help you find another spot.

What time can I arrive?

Whenever you want after 12 PM (noon). But you need to contact the harbour if you are running late. Please give the harbour master a call before 6 PM, you can find contact details to the harbour in the booking confirmation email and on the My bookings-page.

Is it possible to change or cancel my booking?

Yes it is. Sometimes you need to book well in advance and it can be hard to know the exact arrival, and ofcourse the weather plays a part. While booking your berth you will get an option to purchase a possibility to change or cancel your booking. If you purchase the option to cancel, the cancellation must be made before 12 PM (noon) the day before arrival.

Is there a Dockspot app?

We've designed dockspot.com to work great on your mobile phone browser, independent on phone brand.
