Sundbyholm

Sundbyholm harbor is located at the heart of Lake Mälaren not far from the historic Sundybyholm Castle, which dates all the way back to the 1640s. The property has since been converted to a hotel and hosts numerous concerts and events throughout the year, including celebrations of Valborg, Sweden’s National Day, and Midsummer. The castle grounds, known for its gorgeous flowers, are worth a day trip to experience for yourself. Sundbyholm’s Petanque court and the horse racetrack are both within walking distance of the harbor,  and if you’re keen to explore by bike, guests have the option to rent our tandem models. Bus connections are also another convenient way to travel to destinations like Eskilstuna city center. The harbor itself is full of things to do, whether you feel like taking a swim, keeping the kids busy at the playground,  relaxing in the sauna, or dining at the fantastic onsite restaurant.
