Description

Hankø Marina is situated in the Oslo Fjord, in Østfold municipality in Norway. Widely known as the “summer paradise of Norway,” Hankø is a thriving sailing community with the proud tradition of hosting sailing world championships. The Norwegian King, Olav V, was a renowned sailor and had his summer home, "Bloksberg,” right here in Hankø. His yacht “Norway” was berthed at Hankø all summer for decades and his granddaughter, Princess Märtha Louise, carries on the tradition by spending summers here with her family.  Visitors love Hankø’s close proximity to Oslo, and the island is dotted with charming summer cottages.
