Böda Harbour is an active fishing harbour on the east coast of northern Öland. Here you can enjoy nature, the fresh sea air and beautiful views. A walk around the harbour can be as short or as long as you like, both in time and distance.Along the southern quay you will find the traditional fishermen’s huts. If you walk all the way out to the pier, you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic view back towards the harbour and out across the Baltic Sea. If you feel like taking a longer walk, you can explore the area along the beach, head into the forest, or perhaps walk up to the old Böda Harbour, a little further north.

Fancy a morning swim? At the northern pier there is a bathing ladder where you can take a refreshing dip. Just south of the harbour, you’ll find a lovely sandy beach. The harbour offers restaurants, a smokehouse, a pub, fresh fish and much more. Next to the fish shop, there is a permanent exhibition about the historic shipwreck Mars, located off the coast of Böda. The project is ongoing, with new discoveries being made continuously, offering visitors the chance to learn about a fascinating piece of history. 

At Böda Harbour Camping, you will find a well-stocked convenience shop. For a wider selection, ICA Nära Böda is within walking distance, a little further north in the village. Along Route 136 there is a bus stop with services running both north and south. The area around Böda offers many wonderful experiences, including hiking and cycling trails, interesting places to visit and much more.
