Description
Hankø Yacht Club (HYC) is located on the island of Hankø in the municipality of Fredrikstad. Hankø is an internationally well-known regatta arena, where larger regattas are organized in the area every year.
HYC is only open to its members, but through a collaboration with the Royal Norwegian Sailing Club (KNS), KNS members have access to one of the jetties at HYC's guest berths. The criteria are that they fly a split flag on their boat and that there are no regattas or other events at HYC. Members of HYC and KNS Nordic sister clubs GKSS, KSSS, KDY and NJK who wear club pennants can also book a place.
Unfortunately, no service is offered, such as a shower, washing machine or waste solution connected to the guest places. Electricity is bought via credit card directly at the electricity poles, and water is available in hoses on the jetty.
Maximum stay is three days per booking.
