Stegeborg’s Marina is located in Slätbaken between the estuary of Göta Canal and St. Anna’s archipelago on the Swedish east coast. Stegeborg’s unique oak woodlands surround the area and right in the middle of the marina is the historical ruin castle. Its illuminated walls and towers glitter in the water during the night and create a very romantic atmosphere. In the evenings the marina is filled with boats from near and far, and wild stories about Göta Canal is told. Stegeborg is a perfect stop for both those who have completed the adventure on the Canal or for those who are excited to get started. Hamnkrogen is the popular meeting point and it’s open from May to September. There are 330 berths in total. 10 “spots” are bookable online and another 40 are on a first come first served basis for visitors.
